Protecting bees - Supporting vital pollinators

Helping bees thrive through responsible care, conservation, and education.

Why protect bees?  Bees are essential to our ecosystems, pollinating over 75% of the world’s leading food crops. However, habitat loss, pesticides, climate change, and disease have caused a decline in bee populations. Without them, our food supply and natural environment would suffer.

Our commitment to bee protection

Sustainable honey production

Our approach to honey production puts the health and wellbeing of our bees first. We only harvest excess honey, ensuring each colony has plenty of reserves to sustain itself through the year. By keeping our bees in fixed locations with diverse forage, they benefit from a natural, nutrient-rich diet. This not only supports strong, healthy colonies but also results in high-quality, ethically produced honey. When you choose our honey, you’re supporting sustainable beekeeping and bee conservation.

Sustainable Partnerships

We work with local businesses that provide land for our hives, contributing to biodiversity and corporate sustainability initiatives.

We also offer a Hive Sponsorship Programme for businesses looking to support local honey bee populations. Sponsors receive branded hive signage, regular bee updates, social media highlights, and their own branded honey at the end of the year. If your company is interested in sponsoring a hive, get in touch to learn more!

Education & Workshops

Raising awareness is key to protecting bees. We offer talks and workshops across the region, sharing our knowledge on bee conservation, ethical beekeeping, and the vital role of pollinators. Whether it’s a community group, school, or business, our sessions provide a fascinating insight into the world of bees and how we can all help protect them. If you’re interested in booking a talk or workshop, get in touch today!
